Frequently Asked Questions re our Shipping Policy

How long does it take to process an order?

Despite our every intention to fulfill orders as quickly as possible, please allow 1-3 days for your order to be processed for shipping.

 

Do you ship within Canada?

Yes we do! Flat Rate Box from Canada Post is the most convenient way to go with. They are insured, with tracking and get processed quickly. However, we do not control when and how soon Canada Post delivery your package. Their delivery times along with any notices of delays are available on their website here. 


Do you ship outside of Canada?

Sorry, we are currently shipping domestically only. We will explore the possibility of international shipping in the future when such needs arise. 


Do you offer free shipping?

Unfortunately we do not. We are hoping to keep our costs as low as possible, hence we decided not to include shipping cost into our listed prices.


How much is it to ship domestically?

Currently we are shipping with Canada Post & UPS most of the time. While choosing Canada Post's Flat Rate Box might be easiest, it is not necessarily the cheapest. We charge according to the Flat Rate Box rate listed by Canada Post. 

If you want to ship with the cheapest possible rate, please choose "Request for free quote" when checking out. 

Either way, we only charge the exact cost quoted by the shipper. Nothing more, nothing less. We do not charge extra handling fee, material fee or other administrative fee when it comes to shipping. 

Please also provide your contact number if you need shipping. This is required by the shippers to process any shipment. Without a contact number, we cannot proceed with ordering a shipping label.


Differences between using Flat Rate Box & asking for a shipping quote:

  • Easy & Simple
  • All the box sizes & costs are already listed in the check out page
  • Just pick the box size that fits, then you can check out and complete the order
  • Shipping rate could be cheaper roughly by 10% - 30% compared to Flat Rate Box
  • More steps involved:
    • The quote from us will include 3-4 cheapest shipping rates
    • You will need to reply us with your choice of shipping
    • We will update your order to include the actual shipping cost.
    • A payment link will be sent via email for you to complete payment through our store
    • Once payment is received, we will drop off your package at the shipper
    • **If you trust that we will provide the cheapest option and do not need a quote, please tell us in the note box or email us. Then we can skip the first 2 steps**
  • Two payments instead of one:
    • 1st payment - for all items in the order
    • 2nd payment - for shipping 

 

How many items can you fit into a Flat Rate Box?

The following guide is purely based on our past experience. There is no science or magic to this. We hope the following educated guess based on Hot Wheels without extra protecting case will help you one way or another:

* Please note, the maximum weight for Flat Rate Boxes is 5kg only, regardless of the size of the box.


I am still unsure which size of a box suits me best, what should I do?

As stated above, we are only guestimating (albeit our experience helped a little) the above numbers. The dimensions of different boxes are listed here. Try your best to choose the one that fits you most. If the box ended up being too small or too big for your order, we will contact you via email to discuss the situation. We will either send an invoice for additional shipping cost required or refund the difference between boxes.
